G’day, I’m Kirun.

I’ve taught over 130K+ humans how to lead more intentionally, using cognitive science.

I do this through practical keynotes, podcasts and as a Harvard Leadership Facilitator.

This keynote was filmed at CultureCon 2025 in Sydney, where I presented The Intentional Leader’s Toolkit to more than a thousand leaders. It’s a snapshot of my style: practical tools, relatable wit and an energy that keeps people fully engaged.

  • "Kirun is a master communicator and crowd puller. He’s so knowledgeable and is able to pull from a variety of sources to engage a senior leadership audience, which is no mean feat. It’s honestly one of the best sessions I’ve ever attended."

    Saliya
    Saudi Aramco

  • “It was a superb session. Very interactive and perfect timing given the transformation our organisation is going through. I enjoyed the simplicity and the practical tools like the language audit we can quickly implement."

    Mpho
    BCX

  • “I think the best part of the keynote was that it wasn’t just theory - it was practical and relevant. The exercises kept everyone engaged, and the framework for handling tough conversations is one I’m keen to apply. Most keynotes I’ve attended have decent speakers, but this one felt like the right balance between inspiration, practicality and research. Well done!”

    Qatar Airways

  • “Kirun has this rare ability to make complex ideas feel simple and usable. I walked away with tools I could put into practice the very next day, and they’ve already made a difference in how I run my morning team meetings and handle tough conversations with radical candor.”

    Jasmine
    Morgan Stanley

  • “Kirun has a way of blending research with real life - the quotes, the analogies and links to the very real challenges we as leaders face daily. The unlearning exercise really hit home. It made me see what I need to let go of so I can lead with more intention.”

    Alison
    Paramount Global

  • “I was pleasantly surprised at how interactive and engaging the keynote was. The fact that the speaker got us moving and placed mini-discussions across the session made it easier to relate to the information to our context. The hour flew by - easily one of the best speakers I’ve encountered.”

A letter to you, from me

Let me be honest for a second: being here might be a waste of your time…unless you care about this question:

“How do I actually change my behaviour so I can operate at my best?”

If that question matters to you then phew, we’re off to a good start.

Because most of us do want better outcomes.

We want to lead well. We want more clarity, more calm, less autopilot.

But we weren’t taught how to make that happen. At least not explicitly. And that’s strange when you think about it.

We walk around with a brain made of billions of neurons and trillions of connections, capable of extraordinary feats. Yet, almost none of us have been given a useful manual for it.

Not in school. Not at work. Not even in the places you’d expect.

So we end up improvising our way through life.

Trying harder, pushing harder, hoping harder - instead of using our brain in ways that genuinely help.

That’s where my work lives.

In the space between what we want, and the behaviours that actually get us there.

And after working with thousands of humans, that’s what I’ve learned: most of us lack the tools to use our brain best.

Not digital tools. Not physical tools. But the cognitive, emotional and behavioural tools that inform how we think, feel and act.

And when you start using the right tools, things stop happening to you and you start shaping what happens next.

So here’s my goal: to be useful to you.

To help you go from information to action. From reacting to responding. From worrying about everything you can’t control to focusing on what you can.

Because intention isn’t abstract.

It’s uber practical. It’s tangible. It’s something you build - one decision at a time.

Consider this your gentle nudge.

If you want more agency over your life and your leadership… you’re in the right place.

It starts small. It always does. So, let’s begin.

What’s Your Anti-Vision?

A silhouette of a person standing in a dark room with a doorway and a light shining on the floor.

We spend far too much time and attention worrying about where we want to be. It’s much more impactful to determine where you don’t want to be. Crafting your Anti-Vision pushes you to detail your own version of hell, and avoid the circular mindsets, behaviours and environments that keep you there.

Decision Journal

Multiple paper cutouts of human profiles and question marks arranged in a pattern with soft shadow effects.

How did you make your last big decision? You likely weighed up the pros and cons, procrastinated and waited for the decision to happen to you. You need a framework that balances your logic and emotion to make decisions easier. Use this to breeze past analysis paralysis, for good.
